Implementation and Monitoring

The pilot South-South Exchange launched on December 16th, 2008 has not yet implemented any projects.
The partnership building and investment cycle of the pilot South-South Exchange is a lengthy process that begins with the identification and sharing of Best Practices, and continues through the peer-reviews to certify them as Proven Solutions, the building of partnerships between Solution Seekers and Solution Providers, the design and drafting of cooperation project proposals, listing of projects on the pilot South-South Exchange investment market and obtaining funds for their implementation, all before a cooperation project can begin implementation.
These complex processes are critical to ensure the quality of the projects the pilot South-South Exchange supports, the integrity of initiatives and the results required for donor confidence. It is a process that per se supports South-South cooperation through the matching of developing country solutions to developing country needs to address human development challenges.
Stay tuned, interim and final project reports, which will discuss the project’s progress and impact at advancing human development will be coming soon once projects supported by the pilot South-South Exchange begin operations.
Life stories and comments from Solution Seekers, Solution Providers, Outreach Agents, Volunteer, Project Beneficiaries and other actors involved in the implementation and monitoring of the projects will also be available here for your review.
